We are very happy with the work that Faizan and his team at Land Trades have done completing our rear extension with a new kitchen. The experience was very positive from start to finish. I interviewed 5 builders and was impressed with Faizan's response to my questions and the level of detail in the quote. The project was a 60 sq.metre extension and refurbishment of two existing rooms to create a new 120 sq. metre entertaining room.
Communication throughout was very good with Faizan visiting site several times each week to review progress, discuss next steps and answer any questions. He also provided some great ideas to improve the quality of the final look and feel of the extension.
The quote was easy to understand and any changes to the original specification and costs (e.g. upgrading to brushed metal sockets, fitting a wooden floor) were agreed in advance so there were no nasty shocks with costs.
Cost Valuations were provided every couple of weeks and outlined what work was being invoiced (e.g. Site clearance 100% complete, Foundations 30% complete). The valuations were clear and fairly reflected the work done.
The on site team was led by Ranjit who did a great job and always set out to deliver exactly what I wanted. The team worked long hours to get the job done and were always polite.
The quality of workmanship was very good, so I asked them to lay a new patio and install outside lights. This was also completed to a high standard.
Snagging issues were carried out without question and we are delighted with the quality of the final extension and patio.

I decided to hire Faizan and team for two storey extension and definitely feel I made the right choice! The quoted price Land Trades provided for the project was very reasonable compared with the numerous other building companies I spoke to. Throughout the whole project I always felt they were a safe pair of hands which made the experience a positive one and at no point did I have concerns on the quality of work or rate of progress. I think I echo many of the other reviews in saying that Faizan and his team were knowledgeable, reliable and experienced in overcoming the challenges building work can throw up. In addition I was always kept up to date on progress on a regular basis and no additional requests were ever an issue. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Faizan and team in the future and will definitely be recommending them to anyone I know who is looking to carry out a building project.
From start to finish Faizan and his team were extremely professional and approachable. I was kept informed at all points during the build by a variety of means. I felt involved throughout without the stress of managing the build myself.

What I found particularly helpful was the break down of costings had invoicing. You know exactly what you are paying for and keep track of the build progress. This allows you to budget effectively and feel in control.

Land Trades were selected from a tender process of five builders carried out by our architects. The project was to build a front extension and a two-story side extension with vaulted ceiling. The quote received was very comprehensive and Faizan was able to answer all technical questions raised by the architects.
As with all extension builds problems crop up, when these occurred Faizan and the site manger Bublu were able to offer cost effective solutions and liaise with the structural engineer to keep the build on track.
Fortnightly meetings were carried out onsite with the architects to review progress. Cost valuations were submitted every two weeks, these were very comprehensive and detailed all works carried out, any works outside of the scope were detailed and accurate records maintained.
Site manager Bublu was very meticulous and quality conscious and all work was carried out to a very high standard. Issues were quickly highlighted and suggestions for changes and improvements were regularly offered.
The team worked six days a week in all weathers to keep the build on time. The final completed work is excellent and we have had numerous compliments from neighbours and surprisingly from other builders!

Faizan and his team is a delight to deal with - always courteous and supportive. Faizan provided me the most comprehensive professional quote by far out of everyone I approached. All the paperwork e.g. Contract, Program of works, Valuations, Variations, and communication with me, building control, architect and structural engineer was excellent. The work on our house ‘’Rear Double Storey Extension and Loft Conversion was completed quickly and to budget - there were no hidden costs and it felt like Faizan was always honest and upfront, and willing to discuss matters and provide brilliant ideas. For the duration of the work, he was easy to get hold of and in constant contact, always willing to meet up on site and talk things through. There is great teamwork, and everyone takes pride in their work. The site was super tidy and organised everyone, was punctual. I selected Land Trades for my hip-to-gable loft conversion and first floor renovation following their professional approach, competitive pricing and past customer reviews. My wife and I are really pleased with Faizan, Ragid and the rest of the team. They kept constant and honest communication throughout the project and provided ideas to improve/rectify architectural plans. Faizan dealt directly with the architect and Building Control and Ragid was always on site to manage the other trades (i.e. carpenter, electrician, roofer, etc.). Faizan kept tight financial control, any changes to original quotation were discussed in advanced, and delivered on budget. Ragid stepped up to the challenge of building a bespoke massage jet system and a mirror TV for the jacuzzi. The project was slightly delayed mainly due to the C-19 pandemic situation. I would use Faizan and his team again and would highly recommend them for those looking for honest, flexible builders that get the job done with good standards of craftmanship..
We started talking to Faizan at the very early stages of our design and he was extremely patient as we had to get changes made to the original drawings and then reduce our plans when we understood the total costs. Faizan stood by us and eventually we confirmed that Land Trades were assigned. We had to live in the house during the renovation and despite the team having to wait for us on occasion to free up certain spaces again they were very patient. The job was nevertheless completed on time and on budget. The management of the finances was easy with progress valuations as work was completed and we knew exactly where we were with money. The speed at which the various teams worked was staggering and the general quality was great. We had to work closely with the site manager to ensure our requirements were interpreted correctly and on occasion there were misunderstandings but everything got resolved. A project this size with us living in the house was never going to be easy but credit to Faizan and the team for making it as easy as it could be. Faizan was always available and responsive. Overall I would recommend Land Trades and would use them if we decided to do this again!!
Faizan and his team are super efficient and professional particularly when faced with difficulty, we have a particular unsuitable ground conditions, and difficult full wraparound construction, Faizan and his team came up with cost effective and ingenious solutions! And nothing is a problem for them.
From day one he has been head above the rest of other contractors. From providing the quote to carry out the works. Also his builders are super polite and considerate to our neighbours.

We decided to hire Faizan after numerous meeting with various local builders. He's been such a professional and prompt on any matters from the day we met till all the way down to the after care. We had very tough start due to the several refused planning permits but he was super patient and supportive until our planning got approved and next day he sent his team to crack on the project. Like all the other building jobs, we had some difficulties but he's always up for the honest suggestions and also respected our decisions if it's different to his suggestions. Jobs were always on schedule and even finished ahead of the promised timeline. Due to the long waiting at the beginning, we had to move in before the end of the project but he and his team patiently helped us to move around the stuffs to finish off the project. Most of all he's been in touch even on his leaves and answered my requests right away as we always found difficult to get in tough with builders so we would give him a huge credit for that! He and his team came in couple of times to take good care of the snagging issues after the project was finished without any hesitation. As he said to us at the first meeting, he's been the best partner for our big project all the way through and I would use him again for the next project if he's available and definitely recommend him to any of our friends and family!
We decided to hire Land Trades Construction Ltd, Faizan Khan and his team to carry out our detached home’s full refurbishment, which included extensions and very difficult steel beams configuration. I hired Land Trades construction Ltd to convert attached garage into habitable space (i.e. a room with attached bathroom). Mr Faizan Khan, the company director personally visited us and gave us detailed plan of the entire work. He was extremely professional yet approachable. The quotation he provided us was reasonable and exactly according to our budget. He took care of the entire process from designing the floor plan to planning permission and building control notice. Once all legalities were approved, the work was started immediately and completed within the agreed time scale. The construction workers within his company were competent and well aware of the health and safety regulations. The entire process was extremely quiet with no disturbance to our daily routine. Mr Faizan Khan, personally visited the site frequently to make sure everything was done properly. His constant updates and communication with us through the process was commendable. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for high quality work within economical budget. We would definitely re-hire Land Trades Construction Ltd for our future projects. It's not easy finding a builder so we put our job up for offers on this site & chose Land Trades Construction Ltd to build our extension & what a good choice we made, headed by Faizan Khan who always had good ideas, his team of builders have done a fantastic job, they worked hard 6 days a week for 9 weeks & we never had a problem they were all really nice guys, the quality of the job is really good all done to the highest standard, I would highly recommend Land Trades to any one looking for a builder, also Faizan worked out a payment plan spread out through the job so there was no lump sums paid up front or at the end so you knew what payments were coming as the job progressed which solves any payment issues, were very very pleased with our new extension & would use Land Trades again.
What first attracted me to Landtrades was the detail and clarity in their quote. This attention detail was continued throughout the build so I was always aware of any variations to the final cost.
Faizan has a hard working team who are polite, skilled and on time. We lived on site during the works so were please when it was completed ahead of schedule.

After searching for a trusted builder I came across the MyBuilder site, where I logged a request & received a number of responses from several contractors. I invited those that had substantial experience to complete a complex first story extension. Upon meeting Faizan, the business development manager for Land Trades Construction, he was very professional, punctual, and experienced, gaining my trust relatively quickly. My wife being an auditor, drilled Faizan with questions, requesting everything from references, to experience, dates & much more. His professionalism was outstanding & he presented us with everything she requested. Needless to say, we hired Land Trades Construction. There were a few complexities & delays, caused by Building control, but Land Trades Construction was very accommodating & very helpful with the planning process. The builders were very hard working & their attention to detail was phenomenal, coming up with multiple recommendations when issues arose, most importantly they strived for perfection. The job was very impressive, completed on time & was done to top spec. Everyone that passes through our house has been very impressed. The extension was completed to such a high standard, we requested Land Trades Construction to take on further projects to our house including an erection of a new porch and installation of spotlights in our downstairs bathroom. I would definitely recommend Land Trades Construction to take on any projects you might have.
My experience with Land Trades Construction is very positive. Very good communication 24-7, project completed on time, very good quality of work, professional advice in many issues, competitive in pricing. On the minus side, if something is not on the contract or there is a slight change, then it is charged at a higher rate.

I approached three builders for quotes and chose Land Trades for a number of reasons. I have completed minor interior works before, but this was my first building project, so choosing the right team can be a daunting prospect. The build included a single storey extension, renovation of ground floor, bathrooms, and a loft conversion. So the scope was significant.
Faizan stood out since he is a Project Manager, and at the outset was able to provide a clear approach to the works which included a specification, build plan and payment schedule. Minor changes were made during the build, these were priced, documented and I had clear visibility of the budget throughout.
Eight months later, my home is now complete. I can say I am happy to recommend Land Trades. As with any project, challenges arise, and decisions need to be made. The build team were good to give advice; and importantly to listen & respond to what I want. Faizan ensured that my objectives were met, and devotes his time to ensuring a strong client relationship.
